​Our BFF's are creative, inspiring and unstoppable! The obstacles they might face in their daily lives have built them into the strongest versions of themselves and we celebrate this feat. Our BFF's inspire us to Bake the Change in the lives of every new friend and we hope you'll be our next one! 

Different is Awesome

We designed our Baking Friends classes to meet the needs of every child, as best we can.  At the start of every class, we will explain each step of the recipe using storyboard cards that match the visual recipe cards that each BFF will receive.  We will also provide adequate assistance to help each child and family enjoy the class to the fullest.

Although most children grow up with a kitchen, not every child has the opportunity to help cook or bake, whether it's a financial restraint or another situation. With Bake the Change being a mobile organization, we hold classes in communities for children and families of all backgrounds. We hope our Baking Friends classes will inspire every child to be confident in their creativity while giving them a sense of community they can thrive in. 
Whether living comfortably in a care center or at home, our senior BFF's can show us their skills and enjoy a hassle-free baking session. These Baking Friends classes can be held at either a nursing home, care center or at one of our partner bakeries.
